Why Gaia?

Gaea ( /ˈɡeɪ.ə/ or /ˈɡaɪ.ə/; from Ancient Greek Γαῖα "land" or "earth;" also Gæa, Gaia, or Gea; Koine Greek: Γῆ) was the primal Greekgoddess personifying the Earth, the Greek version of "Mother Nature," or the Earth Mother, of which the earliest reference to the is the Mycenaean Greek , "Mother Gaia," written in Linear B syllabic script.

Please take a look at Greek mythology for a better understanding of the goddess's story.

Gaia is also use in the italian language as adjective to indicate an happy person.

This name has been choosen to indicate how much our food is made with fresh daily ingredients and following the seasons of the products. Everyday we purchase vegetables and fruits and food in general, keeping in mind the believe that only fresh and not processed food can help us in our health and relation with the world and the earth.

Only love, knowledge and good balance between ingredients can improve ourself in eating and feeling good. The mediterranean style of life allowed all of this and the italian way of cooking put toghether a lot of different possibilities in enjoying food and stay healthy at the same time.

We believe in this and we propose a style, a food and a way of being here with joy and knowledge on who we are and what we eat.

Enjoy!
